Das Dorf Blijham liegt am beginne des sehr beliebten Westerwolde, ein ruhiges, gerauemiges Gebiet mit sehr viel gruen, Seeen, Laubwald, sehr schoene Villas, alte Bauernhoefe und kennt kaum Verkehrstaus.

Blijham hat supermarkt, drogerie, kneipen und imbisse. Die Villa liegt am durchgangweg ein wenig ausserhalb des Dorf. Winschoten ist auf 5 km und hat alle laden, verschiedene Supermaerkte, viel schoene Parken mit rosarium, und viel Restaurants. Die stadt Groningen ist auf 30 autominuten entfernt mit sehr viele gute Museen, theatern, maerkte, ein tolle verschiedenheit an Laden und ein sehr schoene Altstadt.

The village of Blijham is situated at the beginning of a much loved area called Westerwolde, a quiet, roomy area with lots of nature, lakes, decidious forests, beautiful villas, old farms and rarely has traffic jams. It has a supermarkt, drugstore, some bars and a few snackshops. The villa is located at the end of the village on the through road. Winschoten is at 5 km, has a large variety of stores, several supermarkets, lot of parks including a formal rose yard and many restaurants. The city of Groningen is 30 carminutes away and has many good musems, theaters, markets, a wonderful variety of stores and a nice historic center.
